USyd Peer mentoring
At the University of Sydney, I lead an initiative to improve the student experience for its undergraduate and post undergraduate Peer Mentoring programs. This co-design workshop brings together students and university staff for a hands-on approach to the development of support for students.
Participatory design is a collaborative approach which generates ideas, fosters innovation, helps improve internal processes leading which will help students to succeed at the university.
Current state - heuristics, research, customer feedback and co-design workshop
A series of co-designs workshop for University of Sydney's was proposed with both mentors and mentees to design the fusture state.
By visualizing the end-to-end journey and conducting deep dives into specific touchpoints, we gained a comprehensive understanding of where inefficiencies lie and where student stressors are most acute. These insights not only guided our discussions on refining procedures and reducing processing times but also sparked innovative ideas for implementing new technologies and support frameworks. The workshop underscored our commitment to student welfare though
